OAS Prelims Trend Analysis: General Science and Technology

After Going through the two previous year OAS Prelims General Studies Question Papers we found the following data. We have not take in to consideration of earlier question papers of 2011 because of the change in syllabus in 2015.

1. The most Important Chapters are: (Revise at least Five Times)

c) Respiration, Circulatory System, Excretion, Biocommunication, Muscle and Skeletal system, Reproduction and Endocrine system
d) Scientific Instruments and Misc.
2. The moderate Important Chapters are: (Revise at least Three Times)
a) Astronomy and Space Science
b) Nutrition and Adaptation in Plants and Animals
c) Growth and Development in Plants
d) Chemical and Physical Reactions
e) Applied Chemistry
f) Electronics and computers
g) Genetics
h) Plant and Human Diseases
3. Not Important According to the current trends but You may not completely omit them: (Revise at least two Times)
a) Physical quantities, Mechanics, and Properties of matter
b) Heat and Electromagnetic radiation
c) Atomic and Nuclear Physics
d) Study of Life: Cell, Tissue and organs
e) Atom, Chemical bonding and Periodic table
